Greek islands, what's on.
nightly.gr is an editorial desk for the Greek islands. We tell you which dates matter, which rooms are worth the taxi, and where we’d send our own friends.
The islands run on word of mouth. A pool party that wasn’t on any flyer. A DJ who flew in for one set. A bar that’s only worth it after 2am. Most of it never makes it past a Telegram thread or a hotel concierge’s notebook. We write that part down.
A calendar built around real nights, not a scraped feed. Each event is checked by a human, written like a tip from a friend, and tagged with the practical stuff: door times, who’s actually playing, whether you need to book a table, whether a taxi at 4am is a fool’s errand. Alongside the calendar, our guides go deeper on each venue and island. Tickets always link out to the venue or promoter; we don’t touch payment.
Everything on nightly.gr, the listings, the insider tips, and the guides, is written and maintained by the nightly.gr editorial desk: a small team based in Athens that spends its summers on the islands it covers. We go to the rooms we write about, we talk to door staff and promoters, and we correct things fast when readers tell us we got one wrong. No listing or recommendation is ever paid placement, and advertising, when it appears, is kept clearly separate from editorial.
We start with Mykonos and grow island by island, only adding a destination once we have an editorial bench on the ground. We don’t list something just to fill a date.
Tips, submissions, partnerships, corrections: everything is on the contact page, or write straight to nightlygreece@gmail.com. We read everything; we reply to most of it.
